Frontend Software Engineer - Spacetime

Role Overview:

As a Frontend Software engineer you will work with a team of software engineers and evolve our web platform, incorporate design thinking into our development cycle, and introduce best practices as we continue to scale. You will build features that help Aalyria’s customers understand their terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks through data visualizations of network topologies and satellite constellations. The ideal candidate should have experience with data visualization libraries and an understanding of networking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore and visualize real-time aerospace data on a web platform
• Own the full development lifecycle from an MVP to a launched feature
• Work with complex and large datasets
• Collaborate with customers and apply design thinking to the product
• Collaborate with aerospace domain experts
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the software design and implementation
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the software

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience with JS/TS
• Experience working with modern frameworks such as Angular, Vue, and React
• Experience with Node.js
• Strong technical communication skills, and ability to communicate across multiple functions.
• Experience working with customers/end-users answering questions and coming up with creative solutions
• A strong desire to pitch and sell our amazing technology!

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and integrating gRPC and RESTful APIs
• Experience with Google technologies, such as Bazel, Angular, Protobufs, and GCP
• Experience with data visualizations and libraries such as CesiumJS, Mapbox, or Three.js
