Staff Product Operations Specialist
Join our innovative team at Accrete, a leading product development company specializing in GenAI and ML-powered solutions. We're dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology and delivering exceptional software products that redefine products and solutions to deliver business outcomes across industries.
We are looking for a well-rounded Staff Product Operations Specialist who understands technical program management, project management, and product management at its core. You need to have adequate technical expertise to drive the development of cutting-edge technology products. As the primary Staff Product Operations Specialist, you are responsible for delivery during all the product development stages for your product development team. You sit in the middle of the build teams (Product, Engineering, AI Research, ML Engineering, Infrastructure, IT, etc.) and ensure the product is ready for the next stage by monitoring, tracking, and engaging your counterparts across the finish line. You will regularly initiate programs, monitor their progress, and introduce adjustments to improve process efficiency. Ensuring an efficient workflow includes regular work schedule adjustments, process improvement methods, and Agile project management. That said, you need to be familiar with project and product tooling including JIRA.
Meanwhile, we expect the Staff Product Operations Specialist to provide relevant suggestions and solutions to problems within the product development cycle. You're an ideal candidate if you have a knack for identifying problems and inefficiencies and fixing them. This individual will spend most of their time fulfilling their product deliverable responsibilities, but also is part of the broader Product Operations team, who is constantly pushing the status quo for company wide efficiency and operational initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Support the product team in planning, tracking, and executing product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure timely delivery of product features and releases.
- Maintain documentation, workflows, and process guidelines for product operations.
- Monitor product performance metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate user feedback loops, stakeholder communication, and release readiness activities.
- Assist in backlog management, work planning, and cross-team alignment.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality checks, and product governance standards.
- Improve product delivery times by introducing relevant business solutions for better implementation and integration.
- Train, mentor, and guide team members and foster teamwork.
- Develop a system for regular performance metrics checks and then report your findings to upper management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure every team is following agile practices.
- Work with software architects, software engineers, technical consultants, and other technical staff to come up with solutions for clients.
- Collaborate with relevant consultants in each project to ensure product development follows organizational requirements and goals.
- Maintain a record of any and all escalations regarding technical issues. Communicate these issues to relevant project teams, follow through until there's a solution, and report the resolution.
- Ensure that all projects are following their budgets and delivery times. Make a habit of tracking project milestones and dependencies. Include these things in your regular reports.
- Collaborate with other relevant departments, including the product, sales, and engineering departments. You have to ensure positive engagement across the board.
- Develop a system to plan, track, and document every single program you manage, and lead your team ceremonies.
- Provide regular feedback on process improvements and the core software development lifecycle to core teams which include product, research, and engineering teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
- 4-6 years of product operations management experience
- Working knowledge of Agile practices is a must
- Deep understanding of the product development process, the product lifecycle, and program management
- PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of individual product development stages is a must
- Prior leadership experience in product planning, management, and project management
- Excellent communication skills for a smooth collaboration with engineers and other teams

- Ability to manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and align teams based on those tasks is crucial
- Experience of working with project management tools - especially Jira and Confluence
- Prior experience in product deployment and integration is a plus
- Ability to solve problems and technical issues as they present themselves
