The Associate People Business Partner at Anduril is an emerging HR professional who, with Sr. People Business Partner leadership, delivers strategic HR support to specific business units or locations. As HR advisors to their stakeholders, Associate People Business Partners coach managers to deliver performance feedback and facilitate succession planning exercises to support employee development and scaling the workforce in collaboration with a Senior People Business Partner. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates effectively, and possesses a deep understanding of both HR and business operations.
Partner with business units to align HR strategies and practices with departmental and company objectives.
Manage the 360 feedback process, drive the annual review cycle with managers, partner on performance management, and lead employee relations investigations.
Drive HR projects, ensuring they meet desired outcomes and adhere to organizational goals.
Support managers and employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle, offering guidance, coaching, and conflict resolution.
Deliver practical recommendations based on employee performance and engagement data, guide goal-setting, and promote accountability for continuous improvement.
Lead and/or participate in investigations into employee relations and performance issues, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and fairly.
Provide strategic and logistical support for managers during employee exits.
Conduct succession planning exercises and performance and compensation calibrations with managers.
Facilitate 360 feedback for leaders and provide readouts to C-Suite.
Plan and calibrate annual review processes to ensure consistency and growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to effectively support Anduril's objectives.
Minimum of 2 years experience as a strategic HR partner and advisor, typically in an HRBP, HR Generalist type role.
Knowledge of HR practices, including employment law, compensation, performance management, leadership development, coaching, employee relations, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in using HRIS and other HR-related software systems.
Commitment to excellence, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
Discretion — you know how to maintain confidentiality but also recognize what needs to be escalated.
Ability to function independently and problem-solve with minimal or no direction.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels.
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
US Salary Range: $90,000 - $135,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
