Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
Anduril Industries is seeking an exceptional individual for an opportunity within our Production Strategy & Operations team. This position offers a unique chance to move from advising on strategy to owning and executing it inside a high-growth, mission-driven company. In Production Strategy & Operations, you will be joining the new home for Special Projects in one of Anduril's largest, most critical functions. Production at Anduril is responsible for the end-to-end processes of procuring, manufacturing, and delivering hardware to our customers. Our team is dedicated to staffing heavy-hitters against the highest-priority problems in the organization to help deliver hardware On-time, with Quality, at Cost.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Sharpen Our View of Demand: Build models, frameworks, and processes provide a clear, defensible picture of future demand across products and programs. Pressure-test assumptions, quantify uncertainty, and translate demand signals into actionable inputs for procurement, manufacturing, and capacity planning.
- Quantify and De-risk Commodity Exposure: Develop a deep, first-principles understanding of commodities, sub-tier suppliers, and geopolitical dynamics that drive risk in our supply chain. Build analytics to size exposure, monitor leading indicators, and inform investment decisions on inventory, dual-sourcing, vertical integration, and long-term agreements.
- Build the Strategy, Then Drive It: Synthesize analyses into a coherent production strategy and bring it to life through executive recommendations. Own work end-to-end — from problem definition, to quantitative modeling, to exec-ready synthesis, to cross-functional implementation.
- Collaborate with Executives: Structure and lead working sessions with senior leaders to frame decisions and drive alignment on trade-offs that materially shape the cost, schedule, and resilience of our production base. Translate complex findings into crisp narratives enabling rapid decision-making.
- Go Deep in Data and Systems: Master our ERP, MRP, and supply chain data. Build scrappy analyses on short timelines and develop tooling / dashboards that let functional teams continuously measure and act on critical metrics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- You have 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, internal operations, a business analyst role - or some other experience where you just had to figure out how to get stuff done.
- You are self-driven and relentlessly proactive. You don't need someone to tell you to "move". You just move.
- You don't wait on others to solve problems. You proactively step into the gap to offer solutions yourself.
- You have an appetite to build clear frameworks to structure problems. Hardware startups are messy - bringing clarity and structured-thinking to the table is a huge asset.
- You lean into acknowledging your weaknesses and take the idea of feedback and growth seriously.
- You get energy from being a thought partner for others and it excites you to spend time translating operational problems into data problems, and to then going and executing on them.
- You enjoy working at a place where no one minds if you leave early one day to go to an appointment or run an errand, but you also don't mind responding to Slacks in the evening while you're watching Netflix.
- You have strong analytical aptitude. You intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and data-models, and you are able to quickly execute analyses in Excel or other tools.
- You are comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. This role can at-times require comms to large groups and senior leadership. This should excite you!
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
