We have an immediate opening for a Composite Technician. You must have experience working with fiberglass, carbon fiber, and other composite materials, prepreg and wet layup. Ability to work in a R&D atmosphere with direct instruction from lead and engineering. Read blueprints and build at a fast and aggressive pace. Background in oven operation and programming, ply cutter operation, some programming knowledge and operation and understanding of heated platten press use. Lamination skills of at least 5 years experience. Trapped tooling knowledge and layup a plus. Materials knowledge and storage a must, as well as vacuum bagging process and demolding parts. You are also responsible for inspecting equipment and ensuring it is in good working condition. You must follow all company policies and safety guidelines at all times.
US Hourly Range: $30 - $46 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
