- The Composites Technician will be responsible for reviewing blueprints and instructions to create composite pieces.
- The role involves trimming, finishing, and inspecting composite components to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintaining equipment and tools is a key responsibility, along with documenting work according to company guidelines.
- The technician will also be tasked with inspecting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Following all safety protocols is mandatory in this position.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with composite materials, including fiberglass and carbon fiber.
- A strong background in lamination skills and knowledge of the vacuum bagging process is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should be able to read blueprints and work efficiently in a fast-paced R&D environment.
- Experience with oven operation, ply cutter operation, and heated platen press use is highly desirable.
- The successful individual will be adaptable and able to follow safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
