About The Job

The Autonomous Airpower (AA) Business Development (BD) team, within Anduril's Air Dominance and Strike division, is responsible for identifying, shaping, capturing, and growing new opportunities and capabilities that cement Anduril as the leader in high performance autonomous systems. To meet current and future client needs, the team must deeply understand the user's pain points, how current solutions fail to address existing gaps, and how Anduril products can deliver more effective mission outcomes. BD team members serve as the bridge between clients and the broader Anduril team; they convey client perspectives to other teams across the enterprise while also serving as the Anduril brand ambassador externally. AA BD Team members are given significant autonomy in job function to empower them to deliver the best high performance hardware solutions to the DoW and international partners. They partner extensively with the broader AD&S division, inclusive of engineering, program management, government relations and marketing to ensure that our products exceed client expectations and mission demands. We work in a highly dynamic environment where problem solving, collaboration and relentlessness are a way of life. We are seeking a Director, Autonomous Airpower USMC Growth. This person will be responsible for driving and shaping domestic sales opportunities for Anduril's autonomous aircraft, including Fury for both existing USMC and other domestic customers.

What You'll Do

Shape and capture new opportunities for domestic sales of existing or derivative aircraft product lines, including Fury.

Develop and execute strategies for organic growth of existing autonomous aircraft product lines, including Fury.

Provide analysis and insight to senior leaders within Anduril to inform strategic decision-making, including win-themes, price-to-win analysis, teaming arrangements and partnerships.

Support execution of engagement campaigns with key stakeholders across DoW and Capitol Hill related to capture efforts.

Assist customers in addressing operational requirements and closing capability gaps with current Anduril products and/or derivatives.

Collaborate with technical teams to develop growth and product strategies for Autonomous Airpower.

Develop and maintain close, trusted partner relationships with offices of senior military and civilian US Government customers, current and prospective customers, as well as industry partners and suppliers.

Foster a culture of trust, innovation, collaboration, and mission focus.

Deliver on financial performance commitments and strategic market growth.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the defense sector.

The ideal candidate should know target customers across the DoW and have a working understanding of government acquisition.

Prior experience working with United States Marine Corp program offices; strong understanding of USMC customer community, requirements process, and operational needs.

Experience working with classified and/or special access programs.

Ability to identify, establish and use important customer relationships with senior level officials and program Stakeholders.

Excellent writing and communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers.

Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Real world operational experience in the USMC flying tactical fighter aircraft.

Military Service requirements authorship and/or acquisitions leadership experience.

High sense of personal ownership and is able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment.

Demonstrated ability to lead and influence people through both formal and informal constructs and in situations where there is lack of clarity across teams.

Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
