- The Electronics Manufacturing Technician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on assembling electrical systems for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV).
- Responsibilities include fabricating wire harnesses, soldering electronic modules, and modifying commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components.
- The role involves building, testing, and integrating electrical and mechanical assemblies into sub-assemblies and AUVs.
- The technician will perform configuration tasks to flash and load the correct software and firmware versions onto devices.
- The position requires following detailed electrical and manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- The technician will help develop, document, and improve the electrical system production process.
- Maintaining organized work areas, performing part inspections, and adhering to safety best practices are key responsibilities.
- The role includes managing tools, equipment, and materials, as well as interacting with a digital ERP system for work order tracking and inventory management.
