The Anduril Battlespace Awareness Radar team develops state-of-the-art radar systems to address significant security challenges for America and its allies. We are seeking junior developers to assist in tagging tracks as birds, drones, and other classifications, enabling us to leverage labeled data for improving target classification. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary technical teams to understand radar design objectives and end-user needs, guiding you in designing, planning, and executing solutions that enhance radar performance.
Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications for automating data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Tag tracks as birds, drones, etc. to create labeled datasets that improve target classification algorithms.
Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data flow.
Collaborate with senior developers and data engineers to understand requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable Python code.
Debug and troubleshoot issues related to data automation processes and systems.
Assist in data quality assurance and validation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of data automation tools and practices.
Proficiency in Python programming language.
Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Familiarity with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Prefect).
Knowledge of API integrations.
Understanding of data security and privacy best practices.
Experience with reporting and visualization tools.
