Linux Support Technician, Manufacturing Operations (2nd Shift)

As a Linux Support Technician, Manufacturing Operations, you'll play a critical part in ensuring production operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be responding to and resolving production system issues in real-time, leveraging your strong Linux knowledge and troubleshooting skills to unblock a plethora of problems ranging from networking to hardware connectivity on our Group 3 UAS platform: Altius. Working closely with our Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Software Engineering teams, you will focus on diagnosing problems, curating and documenting troubleshooting workflows, and escalating deeper technical challenges to engineering support. This role combines on-the-ground technical troubleshooting, operational rigor, and proactive process improvement. You'll act as the first line of defense for keeping production systems up and running, ensuring minimal downtime for critical manufacturing processes. Key to success in this role will be robust Linux systems expertise, strong communication, and strong collaboration skills. You'll also have opportunities to impact long-term improvements by building tools, scripts, and documentation to streamline future troubleshooting efforts.
Note: This position will be four 10-hour work shifts per week. Hours are 3:30pm - 2am, Monday -Thursday
$47.11 - $62.01 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
