The Business Systems team designs, builds, and maintains internal systems, applications, and infrastructure across the enterprise. Whether architecting infrastructure for complex warfighting simulations, helping the sales team track deals, or powering critical cloud services, the Business Systems team of engineers are there to support. We are looking for a PLM Engineering Manager to lead our team developing Teamcenter customizations and integrations.
Define the vision and strategy for PLM across the enterprise - Set goals, policies, and processes that guide how PLM customization and integration work gets done company-wide. Shape how we evaluate, select, and implement PLM capabilities. Oversee the technical roadmap spanning multiple product areas and business functions.
Manage a department of developers, solution engineers, and technical leads - Build and scale high-performing teams. Develop managers and technical leads who can own their domains. Oversee workforce planning and budget allocation across multiple programs. Create career frameworks, technical standards, and engineering practices.
Drive architectural decisions that impact PLM infrastructure, integrations, and scalability for the entire organization. Navigate complex, undefined challenges that require conceptual thinking. Lead enterprise-wide initiatives that transform how Engineering teams collaborate and manage product data.
Partner with senior leadership across Engineering, Operations, IT, and Product to align PLM strategy with company priorities. Communicate technical strategies to C-suite audiences. Navigate complex conversations with focus on influencing outcomes across departments.
Oversee multi-million dollar budgets for PLM licensing, infrastructure, and team operations. Make investment decisions that significantly influence business outcomes. Negotiate contracts and shape vendor roadmaps based on Anduril's needs.
Ensure business continuity and operational excellence - Your decisions directly impact critical engineering workflows. Prevent disruptions that could put key business activities at risk. Balance operational support, technical debt, innovation projects, and strategic initiatives.
You've built and scaled a high-performing engineering organization delivering both strategic initiatives and operational excellence

8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 4+ years in people management, including 2+ years managing managers or leading multiple teams - Proven track record of building and scaling engineering organizations. Experience leading departments or multiple functions across matrixed organizations.
Expertise in Enterprise PLMs including architecture, customization (ITK, BMIDE, SOA, Workflows, AWC), and integrations. Broad understanding of enterprise systems landscape - ERP, MES, CAD, CAE, MBSE. Experience with cloud infrastructure, high-availability systems, and enterprise-scale deployments.
Ability to tackle complex, undefined challenges using conceptual thinking and strategic frameworks. Experience shaping policies and processes that guide how work gets done across an organization. Track record of leading initiatives with significant, measurable business impact.
Exceptional communication skills at all levels - from engineers to C-suite to board members. Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build consensus across departments. Experience navigating complex organizational dynamics.
Experience managing significant budgets ($2M+) and demonstrating ROI. Understanding of how Teamcenter and engineering systems drive business outcomes. Experience with vendor management, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
Track record of building things that didn't exist - teams, processes, systems, or capabilities. Experience driving organizational change in high-growth, rapidly changing environments.

Experience in defense, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing environments at scale
Background implementing Teamcenter at a company during hypergrowth
