- The Mechanical Engineer will design tooling and fixturing for handling and testing rocket motor hardware.
- This role involves owning designs from cradle to grave and being fully responsible for the success of assigned projects.
- Daily tag-up meetings will be held to update relevant stakeholders on project progression.
- The engineer will work closely with the team responsible for testing rocket motors to obtain direct feedback.
- Supporting fabrication and operational efforts related to the designed hardware is a key responsibility.
- The creation of supporting documentation and operating manuals for projects is required.
- The position is part of the Anduril Rocket Motor Systems group, focusing on next-generation solid rocket motors.

- A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required for this position.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience designing mechanical hardware.
- Proficiency in CAD model and drawing generation is essential for success in this role.
- Familiarity with basic machine shop tools is necessary to support the design and testing processes.
- Experience with Solidworks CAD and GD&T for engineering drawings is preferred.
- A strong understanding of design for manufacturing and production will be beneficial.
- Candidates should be comfortable working directly with test engineers and technicians to gather feedback.
