✨ About The Role
- The microelectronics technician will work closely with engineers to package, test, and assemble custom infrared image sensors in a clean room environment.
- Responsibilities include handling and testing silicon wafers using automated probe test stations.
- The role involves mounting and wire bonding image sensors into custom ceramic packages using a wire ball bonder.
- Visual and electrical inspections of fully packaged sensor chip assemblies (SCAs) will be a key task.
- The technician will also be responsible for the installation of SCAs into liquid nitrogen high vacuum test stations.

- The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision test and measurement equipment for development or production hardware.
- A strong background in handling delicate hardware, particularly microelectronics assemblies, is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should possess excellent fine motor skills to perform ultra-fine tasks with precision.
- Familiarity with clean room environments and protocols will be beneficial for this position.
- Proficiency in using scripting or automation languages such as MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW is preferred.
