✨ About The Role
- The Mission Software Engineering team at Anduril is responsible for building, deploying, integrating, extending, and scaling software solutions to deliver mission-critical capabilities to customers
- Mission Software Engineers work on a variety of technical challenges involving networking, autonomy, systems integration, robotics, and more, to ensure that Anduril products seamlessly work together to achieve critical outcomes
- Responsibilities include writing code to improve products, collaborating across multiple teams, creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring, and triaging issues to coordinate next steps
- Mission Software Engineers partner with end-users to translate needs into features, balancing user experience with engineering constraints, and may travel up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world
- The role requires a desire to work on critical software with a real-world impact, previous experience in multi-INT sensor fusion algorithms, geolocation capabilities, and electromagnetic warfare and/or cyber effect
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in areas such as computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or physics
- Strong background in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Rust, etc., with a focus on building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis
- Ability to navigate complex systems and established code bases, while making pragmatic engineering tradeoffs to deliver successful outcomes
- Holds a U.S. Top Secret Clearance and has direct experience and knowledge of the Big Iron framework and/or SOSA
- Driven by a "Whatever It Takes" mindset, executing in an expedient, scalable, and pragmatic way to ensure mission success
