✨ About The Role
- Mission Software Engineers will own the software solutions deployed to customers and write code to improve products and scale mission capability
- They will collaborate across teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality while creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring
- Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next steps, partnering with end-users to turn needs into features
- Travel up to 30% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world
- The role involves developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems, deploying in real-world environments, and working on feature and algorithm development with an understanding of behavior trees.
âš¡ Requirements
- Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics with 3-4 years of experience in a Linux development environment
- Experience in developing software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases
- Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
- Strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling & simulation and physical systems would be beneficial
