- The Production Technician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on assembling electrical systems for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) integration.
- Responsibilities include assembling, testing, and integrating electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies.
- The role involves fabricating and installing wire harnesses, soldering electronic modules, and modifying off-the-shelf components.
- The technician will perform configuration tasks to flash or load the correct software and firmware versions onto devices.
- Following detailed electrical and manufacturing documentation to build according to engineering specifications is a key part of the job.
- The technician will also be responsible for maintaining organized work areas, conducting part inspections, processing work orders, and adhering to safety best practices.

- The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in electrical system assembly, particularly in fields such as robotics, defense, or control systems.
- A strong understanding of the manufacturing life cycle from prototype to scale manufacturing is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should be adept at working from technical documentation, including electrical schematics and engineering CAD drawings.
- A commitment to producing high-quality products and a strong sense of personal accountability are crucial traits for this position.
- The successful individual will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
