✨ About The Role
- The Senior Software Engineer on Space C2 will own the architecture and deployment of software solutions supporting specific customer missions for spacecraft operations and mission management.
- Responsibilities include developing modular capabilities to support DoD and IC customers across the space domain, integrating with legacy systems, and writing code to improve products and scale mission capabilities.
- The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality, creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring, and partnering with end-users to turn needs into features.
- The Senior Software Engineer will work on critical software in the space domain, ensuring integration with legacy systems and new space systems, and deploying reliable and robust capabilities on operationally-relevant fielding timelines to meet complex challenges across the DOD and IC.
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with 5-10+ years of working with various programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc.
- Strong background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics with the ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems.
- Skilled in solving complex technical problems independently and possessing clear communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality while creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring.
- Ability to triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next steps, with a desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact.
