✨ About The Role

- The Senior Mission Software Engineer will be responsible for owning the architecture and deployment of software solutions supporting specific customer missions - Involvement in integrating with legacy systems to unlock 21st-century capabilities and writing code to improve products and scale mission capabilities - Collaboration across multiple teams to plan, build, and test complex functionality, as well as creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring - Tackling issues, identifying root causes of failures, and coordinating next steps while empathizing with end-users to translate needs into features - Involvement in traveling up to 50% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in CONUS and OCONUS locations

- Experienced software engineer with a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, ideally with 3+ years of industry experience - Skilled in building software solutions involving mathematical modeling and system reliability, with the ability to navigate complex systems and requirements - Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to work independently on complex technical issues - Excellent communication and organizational skills, including documentation and training material creation - Holds an active security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, TS with SCI) and has a desire to work on critical software in the space domain
