- The role involves leading a small team of engineers responsible for all software running on maritime assets.
- Candidates will leverage the Anduril Software Product organization to implement cross-domain solutions for autonomy on the edge.
- The position requires generating system solutions to enhance reliability, ease-of-use, and capability across various customer missions.
- Responsibilities include writing and maintaining core libraries that all robotics platforms at Anduril will utilize.
- The job entails driving architecture selection and design for robotic mission systems, including hardware and network architecture.
- Major feature developments for the Dive-LD will be owned by the candidate, along with managing the rollout to the fleet.
- The role may require travel up to 15% of the time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world scenarios.

- A strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics is essential for success in this role.
- Candidates should have proven experience with data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and code optimization.
- Proficiency in C++ within a Linux development environment is required, along with experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
- The ideal candidate will have a holistic understanding of software-enabled capabilities throughout the entire lifecycle, from design to sustainment.
- A demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn outside of one's core discipline will be beneficial in this position.
