We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the Role

Applied Intuition's autonomy toolchain includes large-scale data and ML infrastructure, neural simulation, AI agents, and full vehicle testing—enabling engineering teams to develop, validate, and release next-generation end-to-end AD and ADAS systems up to 4x faster. We're looking for a Product Architect to define and lead the technical architecture of this toolchain and demonstrate its value through impactful customer demos and real-world use cases. This role operates at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer engagement—aligning technical direction with customer needs to drive adoption and shape long-term product strategy.

At Applied Intuition, You Will:

• Architect the toolchain for developing, testing, and validating autonomous systems, spanning simulation, scenario generation, data tooling, and validation
• Collaborate across functions (product, engineering, and customers) to understand and unblock complex architectural issues
• Identify system-wide patterns and bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
• Translate technical vision into actionable roadmaps while safeguarding long-term architectural integrity
• Guide teams through critical technical decisions and trade-offs, ensuring design choices align with product goals and customer needs
• Act as a technical thought partner to leadership, shaping product direction and customer-engagement strategy
• Create and deliver high-impact customer demos that highlight the product's technical depth and value

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

• 10+ years in autonomy and software engineering, systems design, or product architecture
• Deep understanding of autonomy development workflows, including simulation, perception, planning, and validation
• Proven track record of architecting complex, distributed systems that run in production at scale
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey nuanced technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated success collaborating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams, and multiple OEM programs

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
