- The Software Engineer Intern will work on developing control, planning, perception, and autonomy algorithms for advanced robotics. - Interns will engage in software, sensor, and hardware integrations, as well as machine learning and testing on real robot platforms. - The role involves contributing to the development of a dynamic humanoid robot capable of operating in unstructured environments. - Interns are expected to work full-time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer. - The position requires collaboration with a team focused on overcoming technological barriers in the robotics industry.

- The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. - A strong theoretical background in dynamics, controls, estimation, data science, or linear algebra is essential for success in this role. - Proven hands-on experience with robotics hardware implementation is highly valued, particularly in control, planning, perception, or autonomy for robotics. - Proficiency in C++ within a Linux development environment is required, along with the ability to translate complex theoretical concepts into practical software implementations. - Excellent communication and documentation skills are necessary to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced software development team.
