Head of Marketing
Array Labs is a fast-moving startup developing advanced radar satellites to help organizations better understand, monitor, and manage change in the physical world.
As our very first marketing hire, you will play a central role in translating technical systems and concepts into compelling narratives, across product, brand, storytelling, and corporate communications.
You will be instrumental in helping Array Labs inspire, inform, and engage a diverse target audience, ranging from Fortune 500 customers and the world's biggest technology companies to investors, engineers, scientists, policymakers, Allies, and the general public.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Array Labs' brand strategy, narrative development, and positioning across Physical AI, Infrastructure, Industrial, and Government/Defense markets
- Develop GTM and channel strategies in partnership with CBO & Head of BD, helping to define the optimal mix of direct, partner, and channel strategies
- Execute integrated campaigns that drive awareness, pipeline generation, and customer acquisition
- Build and lead a nimble, agile, and high-performing marketing team; establish processes and KPIs that enable rapid execution and continuous improvement
- Work with Design to activate and scale operations, including product marketing, talent brand, demand generation, content strategy, and communications
- Lead editorial initiatives, executive visibility programs, and media relations to establish Array as category leader in key markets
- Assist with the creation of sales enablement materials, customer success stories, and technical content that serve our key strategic constituencies
- Manage marketing budget with disciplined ROI tracking; forecast marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue growth
- Work closely with sales, product, and BD teams to align marketing strategy with commercial priorities and strategic initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- 7-10 years of consumer, B2G, or B2B marketing leadership experience, with at least 3+ years in a director-level role or equivalent leadership position
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and revenue growth in complex markets
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex technology and communicate clearly to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with changing priorities
- Comfortable balancing strategic vision with hands-on tactical execution
Preferred Skills and Experience
- A strong perspective on what makes a good story
- Experience in creative, new media
- A background in scaling marketing at startups and/or high-growth public technology companies
- Prior exposure to fundraising with VCs and strategic investors
- Background in product marketing for emerging technology or complex systems, and/or strategic positioning or market research in frontier tech domains
$200,000 - $300,000 a year
ITAR Requirements: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
