Builds high-resolution 3D maps of Earth using satellite-based LiDAR constellations for geospatial, infrastructure, and autonomy applications.

Strategy Manager

Array Labs is a fast-moving startup developing advanced radar satellites to help organizations better understand, monitor, and manage change in the physical world. We design, build, and operate space-based radar systems — including a constellation purpose-built for multistatic operation — enabling single-pass 3D imaging, real-time moving target indication, and persistent awareness at a scale and cost the world hasn't seen before.

This is a rare opportunity to help build a generational aerospace and defense company at a true inflection point. Array has rapidly progressed from early R&D to deployed systems, secured significant government contracts, and earned the trust of leading commercial and defense logos. We are growing quickly, entering large-scale production, and well on our way to creating a new category in space-based intelligence.

As a Strategy Manager, you will work directly with company leaders to guide, shape, and execute Array's most critical strategic initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, product direction, government and commercial markets, and operational execution. You will partner closely with our engineering departments, the product team, BD, and leadership to evaluate new opportunities, inform investment decisions, structure complex programs, and ensure Array is building toward a durable, long-term advantage as we scale.

Our team is small, elite, and deeply mission-driven. We operate with urgency, high ownership, and a bias toward action. Strategy at Array is tightly coupled to execution, customer outcomes, and national-level impact.

If you thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving hard problems at the intersection of technology, markets, and geopolitics, and want to help define how space-based intelligence is built and delivered, we want you on our team.

What You'll Do

  • Own and drive strategic initiatives across the company, from early analysis and problem scoping through execution and measurable outcomes
  • Develop structured, data-derived, opinionated perspectives on defense and commercial markets, mission sets, and customer workflows (with analysis shaped by pricing scenarios, procurement dynamics, and adoption constraints)
  • Validate market requirements and quantify customer willingness-to-pay to inform product prioritization
  • Architect pricing and packaging strategies for government and commercial programs (e.g., maximizing TCV on IDIQs while preserving commercial margins)
  • Evaluate partnerships, JVs, and strategic investments, with rigorous due diligence on strategic, operational, and financial trade space
  • Bridge the gap between 'Program' requirements and 'Product' scalability. Help us structure government contracts that fund our commercial roadmap, rather than distracting from it
  • Build and maintain executive-ready decision tools (KPIs, dashboards, operating metrics, risk registers, scenario modeling) that inform leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Support long-range planning, resource allocation, and prioritization

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, IB, PE, corp dev, or a high-growth deep tech company
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize technical, market, and financial inputs into clear recommendations and crisp execution plans
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to technical and executive audiences
  • Low-ego, high-drive work style with a high personal bar for quality and ownership
  • Experience operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with changing priorities

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Prior exposure to – or demonstrated interest in – aerospace, defense, national security, and complex systems engineering platforms
  • Familiarity with government procurement and contracting pathways, and/or enterprise sales motions (nice to have, not required)
  • Experience supporting pricing/packaging decisions, partner negotiations, or program structuring in technical product businesses

$160,000 - $220,000 a year. Compensation will be determined based on experience, scope, and impact.
