✨ About The Role
- Work as an Avionics Intern at Astranis, collaborating with the engineering team to build and test flight hardware
- Design test equipment to validate designs under various conditions and write code to evaluate performance and automate testing
- Assist with low-level software to interface with spacecraft subsystems and contribute to the development of satellite hardware
- Internships typically last for twelve weeks and are designed for students currently enrolled at a four-year university
- Opportunity to work on meaningful projects and potentially transition to a full-time role at Astranis
⚡ Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in electrical or computer engineering, with a passion for hardware development and spacecraft systems
- Proficient in Python and/or C++, with experience in designing, building, and testing hardware from scratch
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn and contribute to challenging projects
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive workplace
- Must have US Citizenship or Green Card, with bonus points for experience with Altium Designer and SPICE-based simulators
