- The role involves working with the Guidance, Navigation, and Control team to design, build, and test satellite software and hardware - The position is a salaried role designed for students currently enrolled in or beginning a graduate program - The program typically lasts for twelve weeks and offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects - Many past interns have transitioned to full-time roles at Astranis after completing the program - The company is focused on bridging the digital divide by connecting the four billion people worldwide who lack internet access

⚡ Requirements

- Ideal for a student pursuing a graduate degree in a technical discipline with a focus on control systems, orbital mechanics, or spacecraft design - Requires familiarity with control theory, estimation methods, and experience with python and/or C/C++ - Must have the ability to design, build, and test software and/or hardware from scratch - US Citizenship or Green Card is required due to U.S. Government space technology export regulations - Bonus points for familiarity with spacecraft design and experience with low thrust trajectories
