✨ About The Role
- Operate deployments and upgrades for production systems, automate deployment and monitoring for development and production systems
- Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, supporting software packages, and containers or virtualization
- Contribute to both commercial and US Government programs by improving the state of operations for key software systems at Astranis
- Work with Flight and Ground software teams to operate, scale, and automate operations for key software and mission control systems
- Lead DevOps efforts as one of the first hires for the team, supporting the expansion to a fleet of satellites and their supporting services
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced DevOps engineer with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in Site Reliability, DevOps, or DevSecOps roles
- Proficient in Linux, shell programming (e.g., Bash), and has experience with Python or C++
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally
- Motivated self-starter who can lead DevOps efforts and improve the reliability and maintainability of key software systems
- Bachelor of Science in a related discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science) is required
