✨ About The Role
- The Flight Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing command and data handling flight software for Axiom Station.
- This role involves interfacing with various systems, including Avionics, Payloads, Propulsion, Guidance, Navigation and Control, Environmental Controls, and Life Support.
- The engineer will collaborate with various software teams and subsystem stakeholders to optimize Axiom's command and telemetry systems.
- The position requires working with agile methodologies and the scrum framework to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- The engineer will communicate progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership while performing additional job duties as assigned.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a similar field, along with over 15 years of relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing project challenges are essential for success in this role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
