✨ About The Role
- Responsible for aiding in the development and construction of EVA Ground Support Equipment for Axiom's Space Suits
- Design and execute Human-In-The-Loop Cycle tests to verify flight hardware life cycle
- Collaborate with technicians/engineers to perform suit processing for testing
- Develop, maintain, and revise documentation needed for NASA milestone reviews
- Work on testing flight hardware, ground support equipment, and support AI&T team during Human-In-The-Loop testing evaluations
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced Mechanical Engineer with 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in the space industry
- Proficient in designing, developing, and executing engineering tests for flight hardware
- Skilled in working with external organizations such as NASA and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a result-oriented and creative approach to problem-solving
