✨ About The Role
- The PCB Designer will create PCB footprints and symbols for Axiom's component library by interpreting manufacturer's data sheets.
- This role involves supporting and maintaining Axiom's Altium Server system and ensuring adherence to ECAD standards.
- The designer will collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to execute design packages and ensure PCB form, fit, and function.
- Responsibilities include documenting and archiving schematic diagrams and PCB assembly drawings.
- The position requires communication with vendor manufacturers during PCB fabrication to ensure clarity and accuracy.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 2 years of professional experience in PCB design, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Candidates should possess IPC CID or CID+ certification and have a strong knowledge of IPC standards.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer is essential, along with extensive experience in component library management and creation.
- A successful applicant will be detail-oriented, capable of maintaining accuracy and consistency in library components.
- Experience with high-density/high-speed design and low noise design is crucial for this role.
