✨ About The Role
- Create PCB footprints and symbols for Axiom's component library by interpreting manufacturer's data sheets and engineering parts request
- Support and maintain Axiom's Altium Server system
- Ensure 100% accuracy and consistency of library components by following Axiom ECAD standards
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Mechanical Engineers to execute design packages and ensure PCB form, fit, and function
- Document and archive schematic diagrams, PCB assembly drawings, and wiring harness drawings
⚡ Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of professional experience in PCB design or 5+ years of professional experience in PCB design
- Proficient in Altium Designer with extensive experience in component library management and creation
- Skilled in high-density/high-speed design, low noise design, and minimization of EMI/EMC
- Experience with multi-layer PCB IPC Class 3 designs and DRCs
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and able to work in a team environment
