✨ About The Role
- Lead design efforts for new ground test systems of space station environmental control and life support hardware
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing test systems to facilitate rapid iterative testing
- Hands-on work to get test systems functional and eliminate barriers to testing
- Conduct and assist with test planning, risk assessments, safety and test readiness reviews
- Support the use of various testing, analysis, modeling, and simulation tools to estimate or calculate system performance
âš¡ Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field with 3-5 years of experience in test engineering or a similar role
- Hands-on experience building, testing, and/or assembling space flight hardware is required
- Proficiency in mechanical component and instrumentation selection for test systems
- Experience with electrical integration of analog and digital components with data acquisition systems
- Ability to troubleshoot real-time mechanical and electrical problems and find solutions
