✨ About The Role
- The RF Software Engineer will work in a collaborative engineering team environment to design RF-based systems for human spaceflight
- Responsibilities include developing requirements and test plans, performing trade studies for technical solutions, and resolving problems encountered in testing and verification processes
- The role involves designing for a radiation-tolerant environment and developing documentation to support analysis and design reviews
- The ideal candidate will have experience with C/C++ language, Object-Oriented-Programming (OOP), Unix/Linux or VxWorks Operating Systems, and developing real-time software applications
- Bonus qualifications include experience with digital signal processing, cryptography, NASA’s Core Flight Software, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) software development process
⚡ Requirements
- Experienced RF Software Engineer with a background in aerospace, mechanical, electrical/computer, or software engineering
- Proficient in developing, debugging, testing, and verifying embedded software applications for Wi-Fi and/or UHF radios
- Strong knowledge of RF, signals & systems, modulation/demodulation, and filtering design
- Skilled in using general lab equipment and RF equipment such as VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, and Power Detectors
- Self-motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working in a collaborative team environment
