✨ About The Role
- Responsible for the design, development, test, and evaluation of structural and mechanical components for the commercial space station systems
- Execute the engineering product lifecycle, including regular design reviews and developing requirements and design criteria
- Perform analysis on designs through various methods and deliver high-quality models and drawings in a fast-paced environment
- Oversee manufacturing and assembly of hardware, be accountable for designs, calculations, and analysis, and present findings to stakeholders
- Systematically document progress, support the manager in executing assigned work, and perform other duties as assigned
âš¡ Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field with 4-9 years of experience in structural or mechanical engineering
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS 3D modeling software, FEA software packages, and creating engineering drawings
- Experience with spaceflight hardware design and Atlassian suite is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team environment, and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a result-oriented and creative approach to problem-solving
