✨ About The Role
- The intern will assess and approve the use of materials and processes for the development and operation of commercial human spaceflight modules.
- Responsibilities include participation in team brainstorming and technical review meetings.
- The internship will take place onsite at Axiom Space in Houston, Texas, from June 2 to August 22, 2025.
- Interns are expected to arrange their own transportation and accommodations, as no relocation or housing assistance will be provided.
- The role may involve both office work and tasks that require working outside, depending on the assignment.

- The ideal candidate is a rising junior or senior, or pursuing an advanced degree in Materials and Processes Engineering or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, indicating strong academic performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration.
- The candidate should possess strong organizational skills and be result-oriented with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- A self-motivated individual who can work effectively in a team environment will thrive in this role.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as CAD, analysis, and programming is a plus, as is knowledge of additive manufacturing or automated manufacturing systems.
