Base is looking for someone to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of customer accounts, including enrollment, billing, and communications, to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, manage regulatory filings, and develop repeatable processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in all customer-related retail energy operations.
Operations Management: Ensure all key operational aspects related to customer accounts are running smoothly. This will involve working with internal and external tools to support customer enrollment, billing, payments, and correspondence.
Customer Communication: Communicate with prospective and current Base customers by phone, email, and text to deliver a world class retail electricity experience
Coordination with External Parties: Coordinate with utilities, regulatory bodies and and vendors to investigate and resolve issues that may impact customers accounts
Regulatory & Compliance Support: Support regulatory filings with the PUCT, ERCOT, and TDUs to ensure compliance in all aspects of retail energy.
Familiarity with energy industry standards and practices, including knowledge of regulatory filings and compliance requirements (e.g., PUCT, ERCOT).
1-3 years of experience in customer operations, account management, or a similar role, preferably in the energy sector.
Proficiency using CRM systems and other customer management platforms.
Direct experience in the competitive ERCOT retail market
Experience with regulatory filings and documentation processes
