Financial Operations

Base is looking for an organized, accountable, high ownership, and detail-oriented individual to step into the Financial Operations role. This individual will take ownership over Base’s financial reporting and operations, and should have high attention to detail for financial modeling.

• Financial reporting:

  • Chart of accounts

  • Monthly close and associated internal & external report creation & development

  • Expense categorization and AP process / tools

  • Cash management

  • Audit and compliance

• Financial operations:

  • Intercompany transactions

  • Fund flows (e.g., debt drawdowns, cash management, etc.)

  • Internal financial controls (e.g., expense approvals)

  • Collateral and related obligations

  • Negotiating “Operating Expense” vendor spend

  • Strategic / project finance experience is a bonus

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in operations or finance, ideally within a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in financial operations at a REP, clean energy or manufacturing business is preferred
