✨ About The Role

- This role involves maintaining and improving additive manufacturing machines to maximize part quality and production throughput. - The technician will be responsible for tracking consumable supplies and alerting personnel when additional supplies are needed. - Collaboration with the team on AM process improvements and documentation generation is a key responsibility. - The technician will perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on additive machines and maintain all ancillary equipment. - Safety practices, including maintaining PPE and conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), are essential components of the job. - Assisting vendor field service engineers during machine upgrades and service calls is also part of the role.

âš¡ Requirements

- The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in relevant fields such as spacecraft, airplanes, or vehicles. - A strong understanding of additive manufacturing (AM) metallic machine operations is essential for success in this role. - Candidates should be mechanically inclined and possess both basic and advanced shop skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are crucial traits for this position. - Experience with FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices is highly valued. - The successful candidate will demonstrate resourcefulness and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Building positive and professional relationships while contributing to a culture of inclusion is important for team dynamics.
