Blue Origin Lunar Engine Integration Specialist

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will support the final integration of the Blue Origin lunar engine - BE-7. This includes collecting the necessary hardware, performing part cleaning as needed, and assembling the engine.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assemble the BE-7
• Collect and kit the hardware needed for final assembly
• Perform hardware cleaning operation
• Utilize precision tools including torque wrenches and micrometers.
• Follow procedures and propose improvements
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety and efficiency.
• Maintain clean work environments in compliance with 5S, FOD, and ESD standards.
• Identify, develop, and deploy new manufacturing methods (or refine existing) to improve quality, reduce cost, and optimize build schedule
• Work flexible hours, including off-shift and weekends as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple teams to build trust, uphold professionalism, and foster an inclusive culture.
• Help maintain inventory of tooling and equipment
• Execute additional duties that support the mission and vision of the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Experience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
• Proficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven track record in problem-solving and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field.
• Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware.

• Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
