- As a Chemical Processing Technician, the individual will support and perform chemical processing operations for corrosion control, including acid etching and chromate conversion.
- The role involves processing aerospace components through inspection, cleaning, masking, chemical treatment, and verification.
- The technician will safely operate and monitor tanklines used for chemical cleaning, etching, and coating of parts.
- Conducting visual inspections to verify that parts meet quality standards before and after processing is a key responsibility.
- The technician will also conduct chemical titration and other methods to analyze and adjust chemical systems in tanks.
- Adherence to all environmental, health, and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, is crucial.
- Routine maintenance on pumps, tanks, and other equipment will be part of the job to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and fellow technicians to troubleshoot issues and optimize chemical processing operations is expected.

- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or related environment, with a focus on chemical processing.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards are essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should possess the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate lifting machinery for heavier hardware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical issues are necessary.
- The individual must be able to follow directions, meet deadlines, and contribute positively in a team environment.
- Experience in performing chemical analysis and process adjustments is required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed is important.
