✨ About The Role

- The Flight Software Engineer II will define, develop, and test flight software for uncrewed spacecraft as part of the Blue Ring program. - The role involves creating real-time software using modern embedded C/C++ techniques and contributing to tests and pipelines for product quality assurance. - Engineers will have the opportunity to support other areas such as avionics hardware and mission operations. - The position requires collaboration with a diverse team of engineers to understand software usage and define requirements. - Successful candidates will contribute to a first-of-its-kind system that enhances space mobility for customers.

- A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, aerospace, or a related field is preferred. - Candidates should have a breadth of understanding in software development concepts and experience in real-time embedded systems. - A minimum of 3 years of experience in defining and/or verifying low-level software structure and inter-process communication is required. - Effective debugging skills at the software/hardware boundary are essential for success in this role. - The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality, fostering a culture of inclusion and trust.
