✨ About The Role

- This role involves responsibility for all process-related aspects of quality for investment castings. - The engineer will develop mold and gating designs for investment casting parts and determine appropriate shelling sequences and material choices. - The position requires designing insulating wraps and pre-cast mold preparation techniques to ensure proper solidification and grain structure in cast components. - The engineer will document process parameters via work instructions for manufacturing operators and analyze casting-related process data for continuous improvement. - Collaboration with inspection, manufacturing, and testing teams is essential to provide quality assurance domain expertise.

- The ideal candidate will have direct experience with manufacturing investment castings and a strong understanding of quality assurance processes. - A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, along with at least 7 years of relevant experience in quality or engineering roles. - Candidates should possess demonstrated problem-solving skills, particularly in investment casting processes, utilizing statistical analysis tools and DOE methodology. - Strong verbal and technical communication skills are essential for collaborating with internal and external customers on quality-related concerns. - The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and thrive in team environments.
