- This position involves the maintenance and operation of the test facility within the Rocket Engine Testing program.
- Responsibilities include the fabrication and routing of pressurization and propellant tubing, as well as general troubleshooting of fluid components and systems.
- The role requires the installation and checkout of wire harnesses and instrumentation for test article integration and system test checkout.
- Candidates will be expected to review, edit, and follow test procedures while operating the test facility.
- The job also involves safely working with hazardous chemicals and high-pressure systems, adhering to 5S and FOD control procedures.

- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in fluids testing, processing, and facility support, particularly in rocket or jet engine applications.
- A strong technical background is essential, with proficiency in standard mechanical tools and fabrication shop equipment.
- Experience with both low and high-pressure pneumatic systems, as well as propellant loading and off-loading systems, is crucial for success in this role.
- The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality, as the position directly impacts the history of space exploration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers on design concepts and improvements are necessary.
