- This position focuses on the analysis of unique Thermal Protection System (TPS) and hot structures components for the New Glenn launch vehicle. - Responsibilities include conducting thermal, structural, and acoustic analysis, as well as configuration development and trade studies. - The role requires developing novel approaches to challenging analysis problems and driving key aspects of material allowables testing. - The candidate will create detailed analysis reports to support production drawing releases and collaborate with multiple disciplinary groups. - The position also involves supporting test development and performing post-test analysis to ensure the integrity of the hot structures.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering, with an M.S. preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in relevant fields such as aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive structures. - A strong background in hot structure analysis and sizing on recently developed vehicles is essential for success in this role. - Proficiency in finite element software packages such as Ansys, NASTRAN, or Abaqus is required to perform complex analyses. - The candidate should possess a detailed understanding of failure modes and design drivers for hot structures, ensuring safety and reliability. - Strong leadership skills are necessary, as the role involves coaching and mentoring other team members.
