- This role involves leading analysis efforts for unique Thermal Protection System (TPS) and hot structures components for the New Glenn launch vehicle. - Responsibilities include performing and overseeing structural analysis, including thermal, structural, and acoustic analysis. - The position requires collaboration with multiple disciplinary groups to meet project requirements and support test development. - The candidate will be responsible for creating detailed analysis reports to support production drawing releases. - As a principal engineer, the individual will also coach and mentor other team members, contributing to their technical development.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering, with an M.S. preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in relevant fields such as aircraft, spacecraft, or automotive structures. - A strong background in hot structure analysis and sizing on recently developed vehicles is essential for success in this role. - Candidates should possess proficiency in finite element software packages, including Ansys, NASTRAN, and Abaqus, particularly for thermal solutions. - The ability to understand failure modes and design drivers for hot structures is crucial for this position. - Successful candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, enabling them to build trust and maintain positive relationships within a diverse team.
