- The role involves supporting the development and operations of Electromechanical Actuators for the New Glenn rocket.
- Responsibilities include the design, analysis, development, and qualification of the next generation of EMAs.
- The position requires collaboration with suppliers and Blue Origin groups to procure components and ensure all cost and scheduling requirements are met.
- The candidate will be involved in the complete life cycle of the system from definition to post-flight serviceability.

- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field is required.
- The candidate should have at least 7 years of proven experience in the design of mechanical systems.
- Experience designing electromechanical actuators or their primary components for high power, high load applications is essential.
- A solid understanding of thermal management approaches for EMA motors and power electronics is necessary.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs, particularly Creo, and experience with Finite Element Analysis tools like ANSYS is expected.
