This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

The Sr. Client Lead Recruiter will work with a team of peers including Sourcing Recruiters, Full Life Cycle Recruiters, and Recruiting Coordinators, focusing in the areas of candidate talent search and placement, process improvement, strategy development, and will act as client lead for assigned business groups in Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Facilities, and Security. They will foster a collaborative team environment with peers supporting the assigned business group and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers and meets customer service level agreements. The Sr. Client Lead Recruiter must be able to successfully manage, prioritize, and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, forecasting, and how to prioritize customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The Sr. Client Lead Recruiter will draw on knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate closing, client/business management, organization, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate push back and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Own client relationships for assigned business groups; lead intakes, workforce/demand planning, status reviews, and debriefs.
  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, market mapping, campaigns, events, and referrals.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience: structured prep, timely feedback, and clear, consistent communication.
  • Lead offer strategy and close; partner with compensation and HR to secure top talent.
  • Drive operating rhythm: reporting cadence, dashboards, pipeline health reviews, and supply/demand forecasts.
  • Facilitate rigorous interview practices and bar-raising debriefs; enable and train interviewers.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and workflows to increase speed, quality, and compliance; document and share best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiting peers (sourcers, full-cycle recruiters, coordinators) to foster a service-oriented, high-trust culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years managing and influencing VP/Director-level stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and candidate relationship tools; strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, consulting, and negotiation skills; ability to influence, set expectations, and apply constructive pushback.
  • Data-driven approach: set benchmarks, track metrics, forecast, and prioritize to meet or exceed customer SLAs.
  • Experience supporting Operations functions (e.g. manufacturing, supply chain, facilities) or similar domains
  • Proven ability to design multi-channel sourcing strategies and employer brand initiatives
  • Ability to architect and scale organization-wide recruiting operating mechanisms with VP/Director stakeholders (e.g., intake/prioritization, headcount allocation, SLAs, governance); deliver executive-ready dashboards and insights to guide portfolio decisions.
  • Executive communication: ability to author concise stakeholder memos and recruiting strategy documents (problem framing, data/market analysis, options/risks, recommendation, success metrics) for VP/Director audiences.

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation
  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
