Develops reusable rockets and spaceflight systems to enable commercial space travel, orbital access, and long-term human presence beyond Earth.

Senior Supply Chain Program Manager

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

We are looking for a results-driven Senior Supply Chain Program Manager to lead the integration and scalable deployment of operational tools and business-critical initiatives across multiple business units. In this role, you will work closely with technical development teams and operations groups to ensure seamless understanding, adoption, and continuous feedback for emerging solutions.

This role will have a strong focus on change management and project management for large, complex initiatives, particularly in areas where there are organizational gaps, evolving ownership, or limited existing structure. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable and comfortable moving from project to project, quickly developing deep subject matter expertise, creating clarity in ambiguous environments, and driving execution until the business is positioned for sustained success. This is a high-visibility opportunity with direct impact on how our operations scale efficiently and effectively in support of our mission to make access to space safe and cost-effective.

Special Mentions:

  • Relocation assistance available.
  • Occasional domestic travel – up to 10%.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Change Management & Large-Scale Project Leadership: Lead large, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution, with a strong focus on organizational readiness, stakeholder alignment, adoption, and operational sustainability.
  • Gap-Filling Program Ownership: Step into high-priority areas where ownership, process maturity, or organizational structure may be limited, and provide the leadership needed to establish direction, create momentum, and drive outcomes.
  • Rapid Subject Matter Expertise Development: Quickly learn complex business processes, tools, and operational challenges in order to become an effective program leader and trusted partner, then transition to the next critical initiative as business needs evolve.
  • Stakeholder Enablement & Education: Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams building new tools and the operations groups responsible for using them. Enable stakeholders to understand product features, implementation steps, business impacts, and value propositions.
  • Tool Adoption & Organizational Readiness: Lead onboarding and change management efforts for new tool adoption across multiple operations teams, ensuring alignment with broader business and operational strategies.
  • Feature Communication: Clearly communicate feature launches, updates, and roadmaps to multiple operational audiences through presentations, demos, training materials, and written documentation.
  • Feedback Loop Management: Gather, structure, and relay operational team feedback to product and engineering teams to inform prioritization and roadmap decisions. Proactively identify and resolve barriers to adoption and execution.
  • Scalable Deployment Planning: Develop and implement scalable rollout plans, including pilot definition, success metrics, risk management, timeline management, and post-launch support.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate regular syncs, workshops, and working sessions across operations, engineering, product, and leadership teams to drive alignment, transparency, and executional excellence.
  • Reporting & Executive Communication: Track adoption, program performance, risks, pain points, and business impact to deliver clear, data-driven updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve deployment, onboarding, and operational workflows. Lead initiatives to reduce friction, improve user experience, and strengthen long-term process effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in program management, project management, operations integration, change management, product deployment, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced and technically complex environment
  • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and organizational change
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, especially where processes, ownership, or team structures are still developing
  • Strong ability to rapidly learn new subject areas, build credibility, and become a trusted partner on complex initiatives
  • Proven ability to influence and educate non-technical teams on technical topics, tools, and process changes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce executive-level summaries and user-facing documentation
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make actionable recommendations
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, and project management capabilities
  • US work authorization required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience leading large-scale software, tool, or process rollouts across multi-team operations or supply chain environments
  • Experience serving in highly flexible program roles that require shifting between business-critical initiatives and rapidly establishing structure
  • Familiarity with feedback management platforms, user onboarding tools, enablement platforms, or workflow systems
  • PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certification
  • Experience with ERP, planning, or workflow systems
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments
