Equipment Maintenance Technician

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician with Broadcom's Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD), you'll sustain and improve our wafer fab equipment in support of existing as well as new processes in our production facilities located along the beautiful Front Range in Northern Colorado.

We're looking to hire highly talented & motivated technicians to maintain and improve our growing wafer fabrication equipment set. This position comes with a broad and rewarding set of responsibilities. You'll be supporting new and established tool sets as well as new platforms. You'll develop & apply extensive equipment knowledge, job skills and procedures to complete complex, specialized assignments & tasks in creative and effective ways. You'll be part of our ongoing equipment improvement and optimization processes as part of the Equipment Team.

Qualifications:

• AA degree in Electronic Technology, or equivalent military training.
• 4+ years related experience in the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of wafer fabrication equipment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, vacuum technology and related principles and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment and deliver results.
• Track record of self – motivated learning.
• Legal authorization to work within the U.S.

We are seeking a highly technical person to work on a dynamic team installing, repairing, modifying, upgrading and maintaining complex Integrated Circuit Manufacturing equipment in a clean room environment. Must have experience on some or all of the following IC manufacturing equipment; WAFER BOND, CMP, COPPER PLATE. This is a Night Shift position (12 hour ~6:00pm - 6:00am, 3 and 4 night/week shift including weekend nights). Applicant must have an Associates degree or higher in Electronics Technology or equivalency.

Compensation and Benefits:

The On Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00. OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission in accordance with relevant plan documents. This position is also eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
