Analog Layout Designer

We are seeking an experienced Analog Layout Designer to provide onsite support for advanced technology nodes, collaborating with a global layout and design team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a proven record in delivering high-quality analog layouts on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently handle block-level and IP-level analog layout design while closely collaborating with circuit designers and the layout team.

• Quickly adapt to new methodologies, embrace innovative ideas, and demonstrate self-motivation and strong communication skills in both independent and team settings.

• Develop and integrate floorplans using both top-down and bottom-up design flows for complex analog modules such as PLL, ADC/DAC, SerDes, and similar circuits.

• Perform top-level integration and ensure design quality through thorough understanding of analog layout concepts for deep sub-micron and FinFET processes.

• Apply solid knowledge of ESD, latch-up, EM, IR drop, and effectively debug DRC, LVS, ERC, and antenna violations.

• Utilize Cadence Virtuoso (XL, VXL, EXL) and Calibre verification tools, with preference given to candidates experienced in TSMC processes.

• Script in SKILL or other programming languages to enhance layout efficiency (a plus).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 12+ years of experience in Analog or RF layout design.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical challenges and guide design approaches.

Job Complexity & Leadership:

• Works on complex design challenges requiring in-depth analysis and judgment.

• Determines methodologies and may coordinate activities of other team members in a lead or mentoring capacity.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $127,100 - $203,400.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
