- The Senior Electronics Manufacturing Engineer II will be responsible for establishing the manufacturing of Cesium’s NPI satellite platform.
- Responsibilities include contributing to layout design, equipment selection, and workflow optimization for satellite production.
- The role involves supporting the transition of prototypes to full-scale production by collaborating with design and engineering teams.
- The engineer will develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for manufacturing defects in electronics and mechanical components is a key responsibility.
- The position requires acting as a manufacturing representative to outside contract manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and quality of external hardware.
- The work will have a direct impact on the success of the company, particularly in the build and launch of satellites.

- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- A minimum of 6 years of industry experience is required, particularly in electronics manufacturing.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) of electronics hardware is essential.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- The candidate should be passionate about developing high-reliability manufacturing processes.
- Experience in aerospace or other high-reliability industries is preferred.
- Proficiency with PLM and ERP software will be beneficial for managing manufacturing processes.
